The eighth release in Takara Tomy's Dramatic Capture Series, which began for the Transformers 40th anniversary, pairs Grimlock, leader of the Dinobots, with Ratchet, the Autobot who developed them.
Grimlock transforms from robot to a mechanical Tyrannosaurus and stands approximately 25 cm tall. Ratchet transforms from robot to ambulance at around 14.5 cm. Alongside their weapons, Grimlock gets a sword, while effect parts recreate his memorable flame-breathing scene from the series.
Both figures use the series' Premium Finish paint based on the animation. Grimlock has metallic paint for a heavier look, while Ratchet's vehicle mode paint is enhanced for a more accurate ambulance.
