Takara Tomy’s Transformers Missing Link D-02 Soundwave (Anime Type) reimagines the classic G1 Soundwave with animation-inspired colours and detailing while retaining the distinctive proportions and character of the original toy.
Soundwave transforms from robot mode into his classic stereo cassette player mode, with redesigned articulation allowing for a much wider range of poses. The figure can also recreate Soundwave’s Cybertronian Streetlight Mode from the original animated series.
This Anime Type edition features newly sculpted three-dimensional mechanical detailing in place of many of the original toy’s flat sticker details, while optional foil stickers are included for collectors who prefer the traditional look.
A major highlight is the included Condor: Cybertron Mode (Anime Type), designed to recreate Condor’s Cybertronian appearance while retaining the cassette-style transformation associated with Soundwave.
