Shohoriku presents the Gatcha Spartan from Gatchaman F as a model kit with alloy parts. Faithfully recreating the iconic carrier from the classic anime series, the model separates into five individual vehicles which can be displayed independently or combined to form Gatcha Spartan.
The model uses magnetic components and snap-fit connections to make separating and combining the five vehicles intuitive and secure. Each machine includes its own distinctive details, including transparent cockpit canopies on Vehicles No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3, a soft-rubber track system on Vehicle No. 4 and an extendable metal antenna on Vehicle No. 5. A miniature Ken the Eagle figure is also included.
Gatcha Spartan is moulded in white UV-reactive plastic which gradually changes from white to red when exposed to ultraviolet light, recreating the red configuration seen immediately before the five machines complete their combination. Measuring approximately 200 mm long in combined mode, the model blends the hands-on appeal of a model kit with alloy components and detailed mechanical construction.
