The Chogokin Voltron from Bandai Spirits celebrates the 45th anniversary of Beast King GoLion, known internationally as Voltron: Defender of the Universe. This release revives the classic standard Chogokin GoLion originally released by Popy in 1981, recreating the distinctive proportions and feel of the original die-cast toy.
Standing approximately 15cm tall, the figure combines die-cast and ABS construction, with die-cast used for the body and legs to give it the substantial feel associated with the Chogokin line. Silver-plated details across the figure complement the chrome-finished Juo-ken sword and Space Cutter shield.
The classic Four Lion Attack gimmick is also recreated, allowing the four lion heads positioned on Voltron's hands and feet to be launched just as they were in the original toy and anime. Articulation at the hips and knees provides additional display options.
