The Metal Structure Kaitai-Shou-Ki RX-178 Gundam Mk-II (A.E.U.G.) from Bandai Spirits brings the iconic mobile suit from Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam to the premium METAL STRUCTURE KAITAI-SHOU-KI line. Meticulously reconstructed using approximately 2,500 individual parts, the figure combines ABS, PVC and die-cast materials selected for different areas to create the appearance and texture of a real machine.
Built-in lighting in both the main figure and dedicated display base, together with the included miniature figures, creates an impressive sense of scale reminiscent of a mobile suit maintenance hangar.
The Gundam Mk-II can be displayed in multiple configurations. Full Maintenance Mode opens armour panels across the mobile suit to reveal the intricate internal Movable Frame, while the chest can be raised to expose the spherical cockpit. The KAITAI-SHOU-KI-original High-Mobility Combat Mode repositions the backpack thrusters and opens armour panels across the body to simulate heat dissipation during combat.
The dedicated display base features maintenance arms and catapult-inspired components, allowing the Gundam Mk-II to be displayed in maintenance configurations or posed to recreate memorable launch scenes from the series. Further attention to detail includes dark blue Titans colouring beneath selected armour sections and a shield featuring a printed-over Titans emblem, referencing the mobile suit's history before entering A.E.U.G. service.
