Resident Evil turned 30 in March 2026 and the anniversary year now has its centrepiece. THE WORLD OF BIOHAZARD 30th Anniversary Exhibition opens in Tokyo on 30 October. It is the first large-scale exhibition dedicated to the series.
The exhibition is organised and produced by Tohokushinsha with Capcom's cooperation and supervision. It runs for 56 days, from 30 October to 24 December 2026.

What is on show
The organiser describes the exhibition as a way to relive the incidents the series' protagonists have lived through, using space, film and sculpture at real-world scale. The organiser has revealed the following highlights.
THE WORLD OF BIOHAZARD Theater opens the exhibition. A large screen replays scenes from across the series in the order the events happen in the story.
Evidence of Terror is built around the three infection sources that drive the series: viruses, parasites and fungi. It gathers development materials with life-size sculptures of the villains. Albert Wesker appears as a life-size sculpture shown in public for the first time. Lady Dimitrescu appears seated in a figure roughly 290cm tall, made for the exhibition. In the fungus and hallucination area Jack Baker bursts out of a wall as a photo spot.
Memories of Those Who Confront turns to the heroes, from their first appearances to the latest game. Its centrepiece is a life-size sculpture of Leon S. Kennedy.

Exhibition merchandise
The exhibition has its own range of official merchandise. It includes the official catalogue, T-shirts, socks, trading keychains, pin badges and a Nemesis mug that changes colour with heat. The organiser says more goods are still to be announced. The merchandise counter is inside the exhibition, so buying anything needs a ticket. Quantities are limited. Visitors also receive a sticker with new 30th anniversary artwork.
The anniversary figures
Capcom made the Creator's Model Nemesis to mark the 30th anniversary. Capcom announced the figure in its anniversary message on 23 March, in the same message that first announced the exhibition. The Resident Evil 3 Nemesis 1/6 scale statue is the 2020 remake design. It also comes with a second head in the original 1999 design, which Capcom added for the anniversary.
Leon also has a Creator's Model figure alongside Grace Ashcroft, the other lead of the latest game. The Leon S. Kennedy figure and the Grace Ashcroft figure both come from Resident Evil Requiem, which released on 27 February. They are sold separately. Their bases are designed to fit together, so the pair can stand side by side.
All three are 1/6 fixed-pose statues from Capcom Figure Builder, Capcom's own figure brand. Our collector's guide covers which game each design comes from and what to check before ordering.
Collecting from the UK
For collectors who cannot get to Shibuya, all three figures are available to preorder from Zero Variant with UK ordering. The full range is on the Resident Evil collection page.
